Worked to improve the multimedia experience on Wikimedia sites, including creation of MultimediaViewer and an upload tool for VisualEditor, maintenance work and refactoring on UploadWizard, and creation of a framework for beta-status features on MediaWiki sites. Was the principal contact for deployments of team projects, and responsible for the status of team code on the Wikimedia cluster.

Worked on the Parsoid team, an attempt to rewrite the MediaWiki parser in Node.js to make it more friendly to the VisualEditor project. Built a lot of testing infrastructure for the project as well.
Wikimedia Foundation February 2012 - September 2012
Created a web application in Node.js for displaying and modifying employees and organizational structure in a clever way, and worked on the UploadWizard extension for MediaWiki to make it somewhat more user-friendly. Also created the EtherEditor extension as an experiment in collaborative editing, integrating Etherpad Lite into MediaWiki. The latter project also gave me experience with the Etherpad Lite project and its community.

Worked on several mobile applications, as well as performing general technical support, and was the primary developer on a web application for generating QR codes with various stylistic components using the Python Imaging Library (PIL).
